My most recent is on my left wrist that says “family is everything” with my brothers and parents names wrapped around it.

First Job: In the summers when I would come home from college I would always work construction for one of my uncles. His company (Uncle Greg) is one of the largest in the state, so I was on major commercial sites. I was just a laborer, but it made me learn the fundamentals of construction. Being in the field made me understand what it really meant to build.
John Colaneri, co-host of HGTV’s Kitchen Cousins with his cousin Anthony Carino, graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in labor and industrial relations with a minor in business management.
With most of his family involved in construction, it was natural for John to work as a laborer when he was home from college in the summers. He worked for his uncle’s company, Prismatic Development, where he was involved in many aspects of the construction process.
With John’s experience in construction, savvy business skills and an eagerness to learn, he was ready to devote his time to the family construction business, Brunelleschi Construction.
John resides in Hoboken, N.J., with his family.
